Closing the year out in style

 

Micah Women Connect's Quiz & Fizz event on Saturday 12 December was the online event of the season to close out 2020 in style!

Our second online women's event was a smash hit, with 12 teams and around 70 women in attendance!

We wanted it to give the women a chance to kick back for a night of fun and laughter, and it did not disappoint. We started with the very comical quiz team names such as Living La Vida Lockdown, Noel-it-All’s and Sleigh Whaaat!  Let’s not forget the interesting answers to some of the questions asked such as Prince's first name actually being … ummm… Prince; sheep being the most mentioned animal in the Bible, not a donkey!
 
Many of us came out in style with our Christmas headgear, earrings and jumpers.

Quiz mistress extraordinaire Lesley-Anne expertly led us through the trivia questions and announced the winners who took first prize of a £10 Amazon voucher each and a goodie bag ... drumroll please ... Oasis! Our congratulations again to Oasis, ably led by Liz.

The night ended with an informal chat among teams in Zoom rooms.
